Workout of the day

Today’s workout is a mix of sprints and bodyweight movements to get your heart pumping. Let’s dive in and push through this quick but challenging WOD.

The workout of the day consists of:

5 Rounds for Time:

  • 20 meters Shuttle Sprints
  • 15 Jumping Jacks
  • 10 Burpees
  • 60 seconds Rest

Scaling

  • Shuttle Sprints: Reduce to 10 meters or walk instead of sprinting
  • Jumping Jacks: Reduce to 10 jumping jacks or perform step jacks
  • Burpees: Perform knee push-ups or omit the push-up portion

No equipment

  • Shuttle Sprints: High knees or running in place for 20 seconds
  • Jumping Jacks: Step jacks or skipping rope for 15 reps
  • Burpees: Squat thrusts (omit the push-up)

Warmup

  • 200m easy jog
  • 10 arm circles (each arm)
  • 10 leg swings (each leg)
  • 10 bodyweight squats
  • 30 seconds jumping jacks

Cooldown

  • 200m walk
  • 30 seconds hamstring stretch (each leg)
  • 30 seconds quad stretch (each leg)
  • 30 seconds tricep stretch (each arm)
  • 30 seconds shoulder stretch (each arm)
