Get ready to burn with this dynamic duo: Snatches and Squats. Work through these movements for a full-body blast.

The workout of the day consists of:

30 Alternating Dumbbell Snatches (50/35 lb or 22.5/15 kg) 30 Goblet Squats 30 Alternating Dumbbell Snatches (50/35 lb or 22.5/15 kg)

Scaling

Beginners:

  • Use lighter weights (15/10 lb or 7.5/5 kg)
  • Reduce reps to 20 each movement

Intermediate:

  • Use moderate weights (35/20 lb or 15/10 kg)
  • Keep the reps as prescribed

No equipment

No Dumbbells:

  • Use a filled backpack for snatches and goblet squats

No Wall Balls:

  • Do air squats instead

Warmup

  • 400m easy jog or 2 mins high knees in place
  • 10 Arm Circles Forward/Backward
  • 10 Leg Swings Forward/Backward
  • 10 Air Squats
  • 10 Scapula Push-ups

Cooldown

  • 400m walk or 2 mins gentle march in place
  • 1 min Quad Stretch per leg
  • 1 min Shoulder Stretch per arm
  • 1 min Hamstring Stretch per leg
  • 1 min Child’s Pose
