The workout of the day consists of:
30 Alternating Dumbbell Snatches (50/35 lb or 22.5/15 kg) 30 Goblet Squats 30 Alternating Dumbbell Snatches (50/35 lb or 22.5/15 kg)
Scaling
Beginners:
- Use lighter weights (15/10 lb or 7.5/5 kg)
- Reduce reps to 20 each movement
Intermediate:
- Use moderate weights (35/20 lb or 15/10 kg)
- Keep the reps as prescribed
No equipment
No Dumbbells:
- Use a filled backpack for snatches and goblet squats
No Wall Balls:
- Do air squats instead
Warmup
- 400m easy jog or 2 mins high knees in place
- 10 Arm Circles Forward/Backward
- 10 Leg Swings Forward/Backward
- 10 Air Squats
- 10 Scapula Push-ups
Cooldown
- 400m walk or 2 mins gentle march in place
- 1 min Quad Stretch per leg
- 1 min Shoulder Stretch per arm
- 1 min Hamstring Stretch per leg
- 1 min Child’s Pose
