Workout of the day

Today’s workout will get your heart racing and your muscles burning. We are doing a mix of cardio and bodyweight exercises that will work your whole body. Ready to push your limits?

The workout of the day consists of:

  • 20 Air Squats
  • 20 Push-Ups
  • 20 Lateral Jump Over Object
  • 20 Sit-Ups
  • 20 Inverted Rows
  • 400 meters Run 3 rounds for time.

Scaling

Beginners:

  • 15 reps of each movement
  • Substitute push-ups with knee push-ups
  • Use a lower object for jumps
  • Do inverted rows instead of pull-ups

Intermediate:

  • Do the workout as prescribed

RX:

  • Add a weighted vest (14 lbs/6 kg or 20 lbs/9 kg)

No equipment

No Equipment Needed:

  • Air Squats
  • Push-Ups (use knees if needed)
  • Lateral Jump Over a Towel or Small Object
  • Sit-Ups
  • Bent-over Rows with a backpack filled with books
  • Run or do high knees in place for 2 minutes

Warmup

  • 3 minutes of light jogging or jumping jacks
  • 10 PVC pass-throughs
  • 10 leg swings (each leg)
  • 5 inchworms with a push-up

Cooldown

  • 3 minutes of walking
  • 5 minutes of stretching (focus on quads, hamstrings, chest, shoulders, and back)
