Workout of the day

This workout is all about bodyweight movements, keeping you moving and grooving for a full 25 minutes. No equipment needed, just your own body and some space.

The workout of the day consists of:

Complete as many rounds as possible in 25 minutes of:

  • 20 Push-Ups
  • 30 Sit-Ups
  • 20 Jumping Jacks

Scaling

  • Beginners: Perform push-ups on your knees, do 20 sit-ups, and modify jumping jacks to 10 reps.
  • Intermediate: Perform the workout as prescribed.
  • RX: Add a weighted vest (20lb/9kg).

No equipment

  • Push-Ups: Perform against a wall or on an elevated surface like a bench.
  • Sit-Ups: Substitute with crunches or leg raises.
  • Jumping Jacks: Step side to side instead of jumping.

Warmup

  • 5 min light jog or jumping jacks
  • 3 rounds of:
    • 10 arm swings (each direction)
    • 10 leg swings (each leg)
    • 5 inchworms
  • 2 rounds of:
    • 10 air squats
    • 5 push-ups
    • 10 sit-ups

Cooldown

  • 2 min easy jog or walk in place
  • 3 rounds of:
    • 10 deep breaths in child’s pose
    • 30 sec triceps stretch each arm
    • 30 sec seated forward fold
