Workout of the day
This workout is all about bodyweight movements, keeping you moving and grooving for a full 25 minutes. No equipment needed, just your own body and some space.
The workout of the day consists of:
Complete as many rounds as possible in 25 minutes of:
- 20 Push-Ups
- 30 Sit-Ups
- 20 Jumping Jacks
Scaling
- Beginners: Perform push-ups on your knees, do 20 sit-ups, and modify jumping jacks to 10 reps.
- Intermediate: Perform the workout as prescribed.
- RX: Add a weighted vest (20lb/9kg).
No equipment
- Push-Ups: Perform against a wall or on an elevated surface like a bench.
- Sit-Ups: Substitute with crunches or leg raises.
- Jumping Jacks: Step side to side instead of jumping.
Warmup
- 5 min light jog or jumping jacks
- 3 rounds of:
- 10 arm swings (each direction)
- 10 leg swings (each leg)
- 5 inchworms
- 2 rounds of:
- 10 air squats
- 5 push-ups
- 10 sit-ups
Cooldown
- 2 min easy jog or walk in place
- 3 rounds of:
- 10 deep breaths in child’s pose
- 30 sec triceps stretch each arm
- 30 sec seated forward fold
