Today’s workout combines strength and gymnastics for a balanced, challenging session. Get ready to push your limits!
The workout of the day consists of:
30-20-10 reps:
- Dumbbell Squat Snatch (35lbs/50lbs or 15kg/22.5kg)
- Bar Muscle-Ups
Scaling
- Scale the bar muscle-ups to jumping pull-ups or chest-to-bar pull-ups.
- Use a lighter weight for the dumbbell squat snatches or reduce the reps if needed.
No equipment
- No dumbbells? Use a backpack filled with books for the squat snatches.
- If you can’t do bar muscle-ups, try doing push-ups or get creative with a sturdy broomstick across two chairs for bar pull-ups.
Warmup
- 3 Rounds:
- 10 PVC Pipe Pass-Throughs
- 10 Air Squats
- 5 Inch Worms
Cooldown
- 3 Rounds:
- 5 Cat-Cow Stretches
- 30 sec Child’s Pose
- 30 sec Pigeon Pose (each side)
