Workout of the day

Today’s workout will build your strength and stamina. Get ready for a mix of weightlifting and bodyweight exercises. Let’s push through and get stronger together.

The workout of the day consists of:

  • 5 rounds for time of:
    • 3 Hang Power Snatch (75% of your 1RM)
    • 10 Burpees

Scaling

Beginners:

  • Use PVC pipe or empty barbell for Hang Power Snatch
  • Reduce snatches to 2 reps per round Intermediates:
  • Use 50% of your 1RM for Hang Power Snatch
  • 7 Burpees instead of 10 RX:
  • Follow the workout as written

No equipment

  • No Barbell?:
    • Use a broomstick or a backpack loaded with books for Hang Power Snatch
  • No space for Burpees?:
    • Do Jumping Jacks instead

Warmup

  • 400m Jog
  • 2 Rounds of:
    • 10 PVC Pass-Throughs
    • 10 Air Squats
    • 5 Inch Worms

Cooldown

  • 2 min Couch Stretch (each side)
  • 1 min Pigeon Pose (each side)
  • 1 min Child’s Pose
