Workout of the day

Let’s get after it! This one’s designed to get your heart pumping and challenge your full body. Just pace yourself and keep good form!

The workout of the day consists of:

5 Rounds for Time of:

  • 5 Dumbbell Clean and Jerks (35 lb / 15 kg)
  • 8 V-Ups
  • 150 Meter Sprint

Scaling

For Clean and Jerks:

  • Beginners: Use 20 lb / 10 kg or just a broomstick.
  • Intermediate: Use 25 lb / 12 kg. For V-Ups:
  • Beginners: Tuck Ups or Crunches
  • Intermediate: Hollow Rockers

No equipment

For Clean and Jerks:

  • Use a backpack filled with books or any heavy item you can press safely. For V-Ups:
  • Tuck Ups or Crunches For the Sprint:
  • Run in place for the same amount of time.

Warmup

4 Rounds:

  • 30 Seconds High Knees
  • 10 Arm Circles (each arm)
  • 15 Air Squats
  • 10 Push-ups

Cooldown

3 Rounds:

  • 30 Seconds Forward Bend
  • 30 Seconds Child’s Pose
  • 30 Seconds Cobra Pose
