We’re hitting legs and triceps hard today! 6 rounds that will push your strength and endurance. Grab those weights and get ready to feel the burn.

The workout of the day consists of:

6 rounds for time of:

  • 40 Goblet Squats (35 lbs/16 kg)
  • 15 Close-Grip Push-Ups

Scaling

Beginner:

  • 30 Goblet Squats with 20 lbs/9kg or air squats
  • 10 knee push-ups

Intermediate:

  • 35 Goblet Squats with 25 lbs/11kg
  • 12 Close-Grip Push-Ups (regular or knee)

RX:

  • As written

No equipment

  • Goblet Squats –> Air Squats or use any weighted household item (water jug, heavy book)
  • Push-Ups –> Do them on knees or against a sturdy object like a table or wall

Warmup

  • 400m light jog or 2 min jumping jacks
  • 10 leg swings (each leg)
  • 10 arm circles (each direction)
  • 10 air squats
  • 10 push-ups

Cooldown

  • 400m walk
  • 1 min quad stretch (each side)
  • 1 min tricep stretch (each side)
  • 1 min forward fold
  • 1 min chest opener stretch
