The workout of the day consists of:
6 rounds for time of:
- 40 Goblet Squats (35 lbs/16 kg)
- 15 Close-Grip Push-Ups
Scaling
Beginner:
- 30 Goblet Squats with 20 lbs/9kg or air squats
- 10 knee push-ups
Intermediate:
- 35 Goblet Squats with 25 lbs/11kg
- 12 Close-Grip Push-Ups (regular or knee)
RX:
- As written
No equipment
- Goblet Squats –> Air Squats or use any weighted household item (water jug, heavy book)
- Push-Ups –> Do them on knees or against a sturdy object like a table or wall
Warmup
- 400m light jog or 2 min jumping jacks
- 10 leg swings (each leg)
- 10 arm circles (each direction)
- 10 air squats
- 10 push-ups
Cooldown
- 400m walk
- 1 min quad stretch (each side)
- 1 min tricep stretch (each side)
- 1 min forward fold
- 1 min chest opener stretch
