Workout of the day

Here’s a workout to challenge your legs and boost your cardio. It’s simple, but it’s gonna make you feel the burn!

The workout of the day consists of:

3 rounds for time of:

  • 15 Dumbbell Cleans (35/25 lb, 16/11 kg)
  • 15 Alternating Pistols (one-legged squats)
  • 15 Box Jumps (24/20 inches, 61/51 cm)

Scaling

  • Dumbbell Cleans: Scale weight down as needed
  • Pistols: Use a box or chair for support or do regular air squats
  • Box Jumps: Use a lower height or step-ups

No equipment

  • Dumbbell Cleans: Use a backpack filled with books
  • Pistols: Do lunges instead, just make each leg do the work
  • Box Jumps: Jump onto a sturdy chair or do step-ups on a stair

Warmup

  • 400m Jog or 2 min High Knees
  • 2 Rounds of:
    • 10 Air Squats
    • 10 Walking Lunges
    • 10 Scap Pull-Ups
  • Stretch hips, quads, hamstrings

Cooldown

  • 400m Walk
  • Stretch:
    • Hamstrings
    • Quads
    • Calves
    • IT Band
