Workout of the day

Today’s workout will get you running and climbing. It’s a great mix of cardio and strength. Get ready to sweat and push your limits!

The workout of the day consists of:

4 rounds for time of:

  • 400 meters Run
  • 10 Pull-Ups
  • 10 Push-Ups

Scaling

Scale the pull-ups with jumping pull-ups or ring rows. Scale the push-ups by doing knee push-ups or inclined push-ups.

No equipment

If you don’t have access to a pull-up bar, substitute 10 bent-over rows with a heavy household item like a backpack or jug of water for the pull-ups.

Warmup

  • 3 minutes light jog
  • 10 arm circles forward
  • 10 arm circles backward
  • 10 leg swings forward and backward (each leg)
  • 10 leg swings side to side (each leg)
  • 10 Air Squats
  • 5 Inch Worms

Cooldown

  • 3 minutes walking to cool down
  • 30 seconds child’s pose
  • 30 seconds each side threading the needle stretch
  • 30 seconds standing quadriceps stretch each leg
  • 30 seconds calf stretch each leg
