Workout of the day
Let’s spice up your Tuesday with Crunching Tuesday! This workout is designed to be challenging yet rewarding. You’ll get a full-body workout that targets all the major muscle groups.
The workout of the day consists of:
5 rounds for time of:
- 50 Jumping Jacks
- 20 Sit-Ups
- 20 Walking Lunges with Twist
- 15 Burpees
- 5 Handstand Push-Ups
Scaling
For Beginners:
- Jumping Jacks: 20 reps
- Sit-Ups: 10 reps
- Walking Lunges with Twist: Omit the twist
- Burpees: 10 reps (step back instead of jump)
- Handstand Push-ups: Pike Push-ups
For Intermediate:
- Jumping Jacks: 40 reps
- Sit-Ups: 15 reps
- Walking Lunges with Twist: No twist dumbbell front squats
- Burpees: 15 reps
- Handstand Push-ups: Wall Walks
No equipment
For those without equipment:
- Jumping Jacks: High Knees
- Sit-Ups: Crunches
- Walking Lunges with Twist: Bodyweight Step-Ups with Twist (onto a sturdy chair)
- Burpees: Squat Thrusts
- Handstand Push-ups: Pike Push-ups
Warmup
3 rounds:
- 5 minutes of light jogging or brisk walking
- 10 Arm Circles (5 each direction)
- 10 Leg Swings (5 each leg)
- 5 Inch Worms
Cooldown
3 rounds:
- 10 Butterfly Stretch
- 10 Child’s Pose
- 10 Pigeon Pose (5 each leg)
- 10 Downward Dog
