Workout of the day

Let’s spice up your Tuesday with Crunching Tuesday! This workout is designed to be challenging yet rewarding. You’ll get a full-body workout that targets all the major muscle groups.

The workout of the day consists of:

5 rounds for time of:

  • 50 Jumping Jacks
  • 20 Sit-Ups
  • 20 Walking Lunges with Twist
  • 15 Burpees
  • 5 Handstand Push-Ups

Scaling

For Beginners:

  • Jumping Jacks: 20 reps
  • Sit-Ups: 10 reps
  • Walking Lunges with Twist: Omit the twist
  • Burpees: 10 reps (step back instead of jump)
  • Handstand Push-ups: Pike Push-ups

For Intermediate:

  • Jumping Jacks: 40 reps
  • Sit-Ups: 15 reps
  • Walking Lunges with Twist: No twist dumbbell front squats
  • Burpees: 15 reps
  • Handstand Push-ups: Wall Walks

No equipment

For those without equipment:

  • Jumping Jacks: High Knees
  • Sit-Ups: Crunches
  • Walking Lunges with Twist: Bodyweight Step-Ups with Twist (onto a sturdy chair)
  • Burpees: Squat Thrusts
  • Handstand Push-ups: Pike Push-ups

Warmup

3 rounds:

  • 5 minutes of light jogging or brisk walking
  • 10 Arm Circles (5 each direction)
  • 10 Leg Swings (5 each leg)
  • 5 Inch Worms

Cooldown

3 rounds:

  • 10 Butterfly Stretch
  • 10 Child’s Pose
  • 10 Pigeon Pose (5 each leg)
  • 10 Downward Dog
