Workout of the day

Get ready for Sunday’s Sizzle, a workout designed to push you to your limits while ensuring scalability for any fitness level. This high-intensity, 4-round beast will have you sweating and smiling all the way through. Grab your gear, and let’s light it up!

The workout of the day consists of:

4 Rounds For Time:

  • 50 Double Unders
  • 20 Knees to Elbows
  • 15 Box Jumps (24/20 in)
  • 10 Burpees

Scaling

  1. Double Unders: Single Unders (60 reps) or Lateral Hops (30 reps).
  2. Knees to Elbows: Hanging Knee Raises or V-Ups.
  3. Box Jumps: Step-Ups (24/20 in) or Jumping Squats.

No equipment

  1. Double Unders: Towel Jumps, Line Jumps.
  2. Knees to Elbows: Lying Leg Raises, Knees to Chest (while hanging off a sturdy chair).
  3. Box Jumps: Stairs, Sturdy Low Furniture Jump (make sure it’s safe).

Warmup

  1. 400m Run or 2 Minutes Light Jog
  2. 3 Rounds of: 10 Air Squats, 10 Arm Circles Forward/Backward, 10 Lunges (5 each leg)
  3. Stretching: 30 seconds each - Calf Stretch, Hamstring Stretch, Hip Flexor Stretch, T-Spine Stretch.

Cooldown

  1. 400m Walk
  2. 3 Rounds of: 10 Forward Fold, 10 Cat-Cow Stretches, 10 Child’s Pose Stretches
  3. Stretching: 30 seconds each - Quad Stretch, Shoulder Stretch, Tricep Stretch.
